![]() Now through September is the perfect time to get your share of fresh locally grown food at affordable prices. At only $20 a week, you can become a shareholder in the Lincoln Park Community Farm and receive a variety of fresh vegetables every week. It’s easy, convenient and affordable to be a member in the farm and it’s fun to be a volunteer! Complete the application pdf membership application and get your share of fresh food now. To volunteer at the farm, contact Rob W. at 973-732-4003. The Lincoln Park Community Farm is a resource for affordable, locally grown fresh food for the Newark community. The farm promotes community supported agriculture (CSA) that enables city residents to have direct access to affordable, organic produce grown locally in Newark. The weekly harvest is an array of vegetables, herbs, legumes, and flowers available from July through September 2010. In each week’s share of the produce will be a mix of: ![]() Zucchini, basil, oregano, Thyme, Kale, Collards, red and green lettuce, romaine, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, mustard greens, okra, cucumbers, radishes, beans, beets, broccoli, chard, watermelon, cantaloupe, and carrots Experiment with Fresh Food Experiment with Fresh Food With fresh food readily available in your community, it’s a great time to experiment with new ways to prepare your food.
