Lincoln Park Community Farm /Get Your Share of Community Supported Agriculture

Now through September is the perfect time to get your share of fresh locally grown food at affordable prices. At only $20 a week, you can become a shareholder in the Lincoln Park Community Farm and receive a variety of fresh vegetables every week. It’s easy, convenient and affordable to be a member in the farm and it’s fun to be a volunteer!

The Lincoln Park Community Farm is a resource for affordable, locally grown fresh food for the Newark community. The farm promotes community supported agriculture (CSA) that enables city residents to have direct access to affordable, organic produce grown locally in Newark. The weekly harvest is an array of vegetables, herbs, legumes, and flowers available from July through September 2010. In each week’s share of the produce will be a mix of:

Zucchini, basil, oregano, Thyme, Kale, Collards, red and green lettuce, romaine, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, mustard greens, okra, cucumbers, radishes, beans, beets, broccoli, chard, watermelon, cantaloupe, and carrots
